Darrell Finney is a licensed minister, former stand up comedian, electrical engineer, and MBA in Finance. He was trained as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt by George Eckes, founder and President of Eckes & Associates, a leader in Six Sigma training. Darrell's unique training style is unlike any you have seen. He has a way of mastering the art of "edutainment" - his special blend of education and entertaining! Darrell's ability to maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm for eight hours of training is incredible.
Darrell began his career as an Operations Associate at Acuity Brands. He spent time in front line manufacturing, scheduling, purchasing, process engineering, operations management, electronic assembly management, and plant management (union and non-union). He is most recently the former Training Director of Six Sigma Deployment.
Darrell has provided monitoring and deployment support to waves of Green Belts, Black Belts, Master Black Belts, and Champions at companies that include Acuity Brands, Freedman Seating Company, Alcoa CSI, Crawford Industries, Dynamic Corp, Fairfield Manufacturing, and YKK USA.
Doug Lowery is a former executive with several multinational corporations. He has held various roles from engineering and front line supervisory jobs, to operations/project management to General Management in manufacturing and distribution operations. He has worked closely with customer facing functions of customer service, sales, marketing, and quality, in process improvement, optimization and re-engineering.
His passion for facilitation, teaching, mentoring and training on continuous improvement was cultivated as a practitioner in Six Sigma. He received his training and Black Belt Certification while at General Electric Co., known globally for helping put Six Sigma on the map. He challenges the team to reach high, and excel at using continuous improvement tools and techniques.
Doug has provided mentoring consulting, and project selection support to countless business leaders and project managers. He has performed direct consulting engagements, strategy deployment, championed, mentored, trained, or approved the project deliverables of over 200 Black Belt and Green Belt projects, and 35 Lean Kaizen Events, from manufacturing to commercial services in companies from GE, Acuity Brands, Alcoa CSI, Donaldson Co., Fairfield Manufacturing, Vectren Inc, and Wabash National.
